This is your chance to get up close and personal to recruiters from the United States Navy to learn about both civilian and officer candidate career opportunities. Representatives from the following areas will be here:

NAVSUP - Naval Supply Systems Command (logistics)
SPAWAR - Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (they make hardware and software for the Navy--lots of research)
NAVSEA - Naval Sea Systems Command (largest command in the Navy--they design, build and maintain ships)
NSW/NSO - Naval Special Warfare/Naval Special Operations (SEALS, Navy Divers, Explosive Ordnance Disposal)
NAVFAC - Naval Facilities Engineering Command (plans and maintains equipment and facilities)

Shortly after Noon, there will be a panel discussion and Q&A period on the topic: Innovation in Technology. Panelists will include CDR Brown, LCDR Cooper, LT Whitecotton, and Mr. Romero)

AND MORE!!! Be sure to stop by when you can to network with Navy personnel that will be on campus during the event.

The UMBC Connects series offers students and alumni the opportunity to meet with recruiters from companies and government agencies that are interested in recruiting UMBC talent. This is your opportunity to interact with individuals that may be able to land you that perfect internship or job.

Come when you are able, there is no need to stay for the entire event.
