Career Paths for Graduate Students aims to expose UMBC graduate students to employment options in various industries and to inform them about possible career paths and opportunities available specifically to graduate students.

If you are a graduate student, join us for this annual networking event with employers specifically looking to hire students in master's and PhD programs.

This event is a collaboration between the Career Center and PROMISE AGEP.

This event is part of UMBC's Career Month, an opportunity for all students to explore their professional options through workshops, alumni chats, mini industry fairs, employer info tables, employer site visits, and more.

Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation (CAPE) provides the Secretary of Defense and Deputy Secretary of Defense with timely, insightful, and unbiased analysis on resource allocation and cost estimation to ensure the Department has an optimum portfolio of military capabilities relevant to today’s national security while making the most efficient use of each tax dollar.

CAPE uses cutting edge analytic tools, data, and the unique experience of each of its analysts to provide decision support on the most difficult issues faced by DoD. CAPE analysts are independent, impact oriented, and dedicated to contributing to the National Defense Strategy on topics such as climate change, DoD’s nuclear arsenal, communications infrastructure, warfighter readiness, science and technology, healthcare, and cost estimates for future spending.

It is the principal investigative arm of the U.S. Department of Justice and a full member of the U.S. Intelligence Community. The U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense (USAMRICD) is the Department of Defense’s lead laboratory for medical chemical defense research.
