Dear ++: Thank you for registering for the Reverse Career Fair. We will be contacting you as the fair approaches with logistics for the day of the Fair. In the interim, these are a few suggestions to prepare. Best Booth Contest --------------------------- Each student organization will be provided with a 6 foot table, 2 chairs, pipe and drape as well as signage. (The same as an employer table during a traditional career fair.) You can then expand upon this to represent your organization. Involvement Fest displays are a good example of what we are looking for. Employers attending the Fair will be judging each organization's booth and voting based on four criteria. 1. Did your booth represent the purpose/objective of your organization? 2. Were the accomplishments of your organization clearly defined? 3. Were the student representatives articulate and engaging? 4. Did your booth have an element of appeal that attracted the employer? The winning organization will be receive a $200 prize deposited into their organizations account. Member Resumes --------------------------- Your participating members will need to update their resumes in UMBCworks, and get it approved if needed. The Career Center will provide attending employers access to a resume book via UMBCworks. Submit or update resumes under the "Documents" section. If you have uploaded multiple copies of your resume, be sure to click "Make Default" under the version you want employers to see!
