Each year we publish a Career Guide (roughly 100 pages in length) that we make available on our website and distribute printed copies to UMBC students who use our services and attend special events. If you would like to help fund this useful student resource while also promoting your organization during the 2025-2026 academic year, please consider purchasing an advertisement space in this full color publication.

Note, we do not design advertisements for organizations. Your purchase below is for ad placement. Order must be placed by August 1 and advertisement artwork must be submitted by August 8 to ensure placement in the publication. Please share the below advertisement specifications with your marketing/design department/agent for creation and submission of your advertisement:

Our finished guide will have 8.5 x 11 inch pages, with half-inch margins. All advertisements should fit within the margin and not bleed to the edge. Please submit advertisements as the exact dimensions for the size ordered - not full bleed, and do not include printer's marks nor crop marks.

We accept ads in all image formats, but the preferred file formats are: PDF, EPS, JPEG, PNG. Color images should be in RGB (as we will initially be designing the guide for the web). If you wish to send both an RBG and CMYK version of the same ad, you may do so. If sending as a raster image (pixel-based) please make sure your ad is at least 300-dpi and if in a compressed format, such as JPG, make sure to save it in as high-quality/print-quality as possible.
